Exploring Foreign Language Anxiety, Enjoyment and Teacher Influence among Adolecent Learners

This talk presents a new mixed-methods research project on adolescent learners’ emotional experiences in foreign language classrooms, with a focus on foreign language anxiety, enjoyment and students’ perceptions of teacher behaviour. The project aims to explore how classroom situations, interaction and teaching practices relate to students’ emotions and participation. I will present the design of the study and would be very grateful for comments and suggestions from colleagues at Aarhus.
