The VidNet Project

Knowledge Communication Lab's most recent project was the VidNet Project - Knowledge Communities and Networks. The project ran from October 15 2007 until November 2009. The project was supported by the Danish ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation with approx. 7 million DKK through the co-called IT corridor.

The project built on the experiences from KCL's former projects within public health and also included a new area, namely taxes and VAT. The project focused on IT-based communication, learning and knowledge sharing within public health and business law. Another central aspect was the formation of networks and interactions between research environments and practice environments.

At the same time this project ensured that the development of our IT tools took on a more general direction, so that the tools can be used by all groups and organisations for sharing knowledge, texts and terminology.
