Knowledge Communication Lab (KCL) develops concepts and ICT tools to support applied humanistic, commercial research.
Knowledge Communication Lab (KCL) develops concepts and ICT tools to support applied humanistic, commercial research. The research in sharing specialised knowledge conducted at the Aarhus School of Business is used at KCL as a basis for the development of practically usable and commercial products. These products are mainly ICT tools for e-learning, for sharing terminological knowledge and for handling documents and terminology. The products are sold through the Ltd TermShare A/S, which is spun out of KCL. Please see left-hand menu for more information about TermShare A/S. Furthermore, we hold courses in research communication, language technology and (medical) LSP. KCL was formerly known as the Centre for Medical LSP and has its basis in the many experiences gained on knowledge sharing within medical science and medical LSP. Therefore, a key aspect of the work at KCL is redevelopment and maintenance of the programmes and databases developed at Centre for Medical LSP. At the international level, KCL's vision is to become the point of reference and the catalyst for innovative development within the sharing of specialised knowledge. KCL refers to the research group Knowledge Communication at the Department for Language and Business Communication.
