Evil in film and television from an evolutionary perspective
This collection of mini lectures will address both unions (UK, EU) and will address the most important driving forces of nationalism and unionism from the perspective of Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. After the presentations the floor will be open for discussion.
Nicholas Mirzoeff. Professor of Media, Culture and Communication at New York University. He is one of the founders of the academic discipline of visual culture in books like An Introduction to Visual Culture (1999/2009) and The Visual Culture Reader (1998/2002/2012).
The aim of the conference is to examine how existential thought has been formulated, and to explore how it could be rearticulated at the beginning of the 21st century.
