SoundTap is an application for recording audio playing on the computer. It will capture whatever is playing on the computer’s sound card, including streaming audio.
NB! Recordings from the soundcard may contain static from the electronics surrounding them inside the computer. If the sound quality from direct recordings is unsatisfactory, or if high sound quality is needed, an external soundcard with recording functionality may provide a better solution.
The application is commercial. It allows for at trial period of 14 days, but with an additional unspecified limitation for use, wherefore it may cease to work sooner.
