Quicktime

Tutorial by 13thDesign.

QuickTime is the standard media player in OS X systems. QuickTime can record a movie from your camera, or record the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. It can also record audio from a microphone or record the screen of your Mac.

The options are accessed by selecting File > New Movie Recording. To change the recording settings, click the arrow next to the Record button. Then choose your camera or iOS device, microphone, and recording quality.

Important notice: QuickTime has previously been available for Windows OS, but Apple has ceased all support of QuickTime for Windows. Running QuickTime on Windows OS now poses severe security risks and is strongly discouraged.

The application is included in Mac OS X devices.
