Since 1999, the School for Authors of Children’s Literature at the Centre for Children’s Literature and Media has been focusing on the process of writing good stories for children and young adults.

In connection with the International Children’s Literature Hay Festival, we are inviting authors, illustrators and students to participate in a seminar on writing and illustrating for children and young adults in Europe today. The seminar is open to everybody with a professional or personal interest in children’s literature.

The seminar will consist of a mixture of interviews, panels, presentations and readings by authors and illustrators from all over Europe (including the Nordic countries and Aarhus). The seminar will be conducted in English.
