My group uses neuroimaging to study brain dysfunction in mental disorders, the causal relation from genetic liability to pathophysiology to psychopathology in the development of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression and autism. Using magnetoencephalography (MEG), electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) combined with biophysical modelling, we provide quantitative biomarkers for clinical research that allow for a biological nosology of mental disorders.
