Profile

Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Public Health, Aarhus University. I am a medical anthropologist with a PhD in Public Health, specialising in social inequalities in health, the organisation of healthcare services, and complex interventions. Drawing on in-depth qualitative methodologies, my research examines experiences of care and treatment related to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and fertility challenges.

Collaborations

I collaborate with internationally recognised researchers within my fields of research, including research groups at King’s College London and the University of Manchester.

Job responsibilities

I employ in-depth qualitative methodologies to investigate experiences, perspectives, and practices related to access to and the organisation of healthcare services. I have extensive experience with case studies, ethnographic fieldwork, and process evaluations. My work is theoretically informed by perspectives on social inequality and access to healthcare, including health literacy and organisational health literacy.
