Description:

This lecture will explore how challenge prizes and open calls can unlock innovation from unexpected places — and show how carefully designed incentives can mobilize diverse solvers, including grassroots innovators, NGOs, and individuals outside traditional pipelines. We will explore how unconventional approaches to innovation not only generate breakthrough solutions but also surface talent from underrepresented groups.
