Mistrust of scientific expertise is spread via the internet and particularly via social media We can now see this with COVID19, where other forms of ‘advice’ are being propagated alongside science-based advice, which leads to the spread of misinformation. A new research group at Aarhus University will investigate how mistrust in scientific expertise arises and spreads online.
