I am a historian specializing in early modern Scandinavian history. My research has particularly focused on the Danish state's treatment of poor relief after the Reformation (1536-1740), on the author Birgitte Thott's handwritten and printed books (1610-1662), and rhetorical strategies and scientific communication in Danish 18th-century journals.
Currently, I am working at the Center for the Rise of Science and Fiction, where I investigate the relation between scientific communication and fictionality in Danish journals between 1740-1770. As part of my work, I am digitizing and transcribing a large portion of the journals published during this period, and I expect to publish a database by late 2026.
