My PhD project investigates educational wall charts as part of a broader visual culture shaped by the circulation of illustrations across institutions, countries, and artists. It examines how these visual connections produced and transformed illustrative traditions across different contexts. Drawing on visual embedding models I analyze how images circulated across and between different actors through a combined digital and art-historical approach, which I term Mixed Viewing.
