My research explores the intersection of transness and nature in contemporary Danish literature. I am interested in the meanings generated by literary texts that intertwine transness and nature, particularly considering the historically and culturally complex relationship between this identity category and prevailing notions of nature and naturalness.
I examine these texts through the theoretical lens of transecology, an emerging field rooted in trans studies and ecocriticism.
