I am Head of Department for Scandinavian Studies and Experience Economy and associate professor in Scandinavian language and literature. My research is mainly about Old Norse literature and culture and medieval literature in a broader sense, and I deal with Nordic literary history as well. I am a steering group member of Centre for Viking Age and the Middle Ages, AU, and the MA-program Viking and Medieval Norse Studies, and I am in charge of the international research network Pre-Modern Nordic Memory Studies. I am one of the series editors of the book series Memory and the Medieval North (De Gruyter).
