Research program member May Ee Wong has a short article published in a special anniversary issue of the German media studies journal, Zietschrift für Medienwissenschaft. Co-written with Lukas Diestel, Maximilian Hepach, Giacomo Marinsalta, Sybille Neumeyer, Jonas Parnow and Birgit Schneider, the article is the printed version of the interactive app they created during the “Environmental Data, Media and the Humanities” Hackathon held in Potsdam from May 31 to June 2, 2023 that was organized by the Digital Humanities Network of the University of Potsdam. Combining astrological principles with the prospect of climate change, Climate Fortunes replaces the stellar signs of the zodiac with earthly beings.
May Ee Wong works as a researcher in the project Design and Aesthetics for Environmental Data (AUFF, 2022-2024).
