At this workshop, three researchers from across the school will share their experiences with applying for and getting external funding for practice-based research projects. They will shed light onto e.g.,:

• How to meaningfully approach an external collaborator
• How to successfully structure a project involving “praksisaktører”
• How to do empirical and analytical work in a project that involves external collaborators
• How to publish and disseminate research in practice-based research projects
• How to work with impact in relation to practice-based research projects

Professor in Cultural Theory and Analysis, Birgit Eriksson, will share her experience with applying for and getting grants from Nordea Fonden for the project Deltag and VELUX Museumsprogrammet for the project CraftVærk on cultural participation together with Trapholt Museum in Kolding, Denmark.

13:10 - 13:40: Mathias Clasen – Innovation Fund Denmark: Innoexplorer

Associate Professor and director of Recreational Fear Lab, Mathias Clasen, will tell us about how the grant from Innovation Fund Denmark came into being for the project Affective Player Experience of Fear (APEX of Fear): Enhancing User Experience of Horror through Affective Computing.
