The English Writing Centre employs four instructors. Below, you can learn more about each of our instructors.
Signe is currently on her final semester of the bachelor program in English (SLK) at Aarhus University, with a minor in Dramaturgy.
Her main interests lie in Linguistics, although she has a really tough time deciding on which branch of it is her favorite.
Laura is currently enrolled in the bachelor's programme International Business Communication - English at Aarhus University.
Her academic focus lies within written communication and exploring language differences.
Sebastian holds a BA in English and Sociology as well as a BA in History.
He is currently enrolled in the English Department's A-line MA program. Sebastian is mainly interested in the History, Society, and Culture branch of the department, with a particular focus on cultural development in the English-speaking world.
Though he once wrote an entire undergraduate essay arguing that footnotes disrupt narrative flow, Sebastian now finds himself citing Chicago style with alarming fluency.
Tilde is pursuing a bachelor's degress in International Business Communication in English. Her interest lie in marketing, political communication and text production.
She has a background in social media and a passion for travel.
Carmen is the English Writing Centre Coordinator. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of English. Her research interests are writing and translation studies and text production process studies.
Carmen's core interest in writing research is in writer's knowledge communication and writer's self-reflection during writing.
