Meeting: Horizon Europe for Cultural Transformers

Horizon Europe is the new EU research program after its predecessor, Horizon 2020, ended. A lot is the same between the two programs, but the research needs of EU’s agenda on culture, creativity and an inclusive society are continuously evolving.

This meeting is meant to give an introduction to Horizon Europe focused on the many opportunities for members of the research program Cultural Transformations in addressing the global challenges described in Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe.

Torben Juul Classen from AU’s research support unit and Pernille Roholt from the School are invited to do a short 30 minute presentation followed by a 30 minute Q&A.

Pernille and Torben’s presentation will be based on a specific funding opportunity (topic) from Pillar 2, relevant to the research program, and we will go through the following:

  • Brief introduction to Horizon Europe as a whole and Pillar 2 specifically
  • Where do you find back ground documents for the topic?
  • How do you get an overview of already funded EU-projects related to the topic?
  • What is the process towards a grant and where to I get help?
