Info about event

Wednesday 7 March 2018,  at 19:30 - 21:00

Rotterdam based artist Joana Chicau will perform A Webpage in Two Acts, an assemblage of visual experiments into a hybrid of composition, combining principles of choreography within the formal structure of coding.

Jakob Bangsø and Andreja Andric will perform two combinatorial, meditative and purely acoustic guitar duos. In the first piece, Glide, they will choose three chords out of 10 most often used ones in 99 different ways. In the second piece, Effervescence, they will play only one chord broken in 500 different ways.

Joana Chicau is a media designer, creative coder and researcher - with a background in classical & contemporary dance - currently based in The Netherlands. She runs a transdisciplinary research project which interweaves media design and web environments with performance and choreographic practices [www.joanachicau.com].

Andreja Andric is a Serbian sound artist, currently living in Aarhus. His chief interests lie in playful exploration of mathematical processes and chance. He exhibits and performs internationally, mainly with works where computer programming is the key means of artistic expression. [http://www.andrejaandric.altervista.org/]
