Profile

I am a PhD student at Aarhus University and the Central Denmark Region with a background in public health science. My research focuses on medical education – particularly how simulation and team training can support workplace well-being, learning, and patient safety in healthcare. I have several years of experience as a project manager and research associate, and I have taught and supervised both students and healthcare professionals in research methods and development work. My earlier work includes public health and evaluation projects in both municipal and regional settings.

Research

I study how healthcare professionals can practice handling critical situations – such as emergency care for children – through realistic training exercises held in safe hospital settings. This is known as simulation training. My research looks at how this kind of training can improve teamwork, create a healthier work environment, and make care safer for patients.

Job responsibilities

My work includes research, teaching, supervision, and development in the healthcare field. I focus particularly on medical education, where I develop and study learning activities for healthcare professionals. In the past, I have worked with public health, workplace well-being, and evaluation of health initiatives in both hospitals and municipalities.
