I am a PhD scholar in sociolinguistics and postcolonial linguistics, specializing in exploring the linguistic dynamics and attitudes in multilingual border regions, particularly within the context of South America with my main focus being on the interactions between Spanish, Portuguese, and the contact language Portuñol.
My research includes analyses of language attitudes and language choice at various institutional levels, encompassing family and social environments, educational institutions, and commercial sectors, along with the impact of historical and cultural factors on the linguistic landscape.
