My PhD project is about the so-called Angli Avantgarde, and has the working title "Into everyday life - the hidden potential of materials". The Angli Avantgarde counts a number of Danish and foreign artists who collaborated with the shirt factory Angli in Herning in the 1950s-70s. The project is supported by the New Carlsberg Foundation and is a crossdisciplinary study combining art history and conservation.
Since 2021 I have been employed as curator at HEART Herning Museum of Contemporary Art. The PhD project is based on the museum's collection.
