Peter Waterhouse (born 1956) is an Austrian poet and translator, and founder of the exceptional translation collective Versatorium at the Univerisity of Vienna. In his talk he will discuss translation and its relation to his own writing. Two of Waterhouse’ translators will be present at the talk: Arild Vange has, among other things, translated Waterhouse colossal autobiographical novel (Krieg und Welt) into Norwegian, René Jean Jensen got formidable reviews this spring for his translation of (in Danish) Sprog Død Nat Udenfor.
