My research is centered around the manifesto as an aesthetic, affective and attitude-building process.
I teach manifesto writing, especially feminist gender manifestos, including their history and role in the Danish gender debate. I focus on examining, exploring and experimenting with the manifesto as a way to fuse the writing process, and how thinking and writing with the manifesto may facilitate change in processes and praxis.
In my PhD project I am collaborating with MidtVest Girls' Choir from Den Jyske Sangskole as a part of their experimental art project "Det Vi Mener" (What We Think), where the girls' choir aided by an external composer are writing and developing songs inspired by the themes Crisis and Heritage to examine the choirs potential for becoming a democratic voice.
