My current research focus is on communicative interactions (e.g. conversations) and scientific research. I weave together a broad variety of disciplines (cognitive science, semiotics, developmental and clinical psychology, linguistics) and methodologies (causal inference, cognitive modeling, complex systems, machine learning).
Notable projects: conversational dynamics in neurodiversity; turn-taking in a developmental and comparative perspective; cognitive modeling of conversation and social cognition; causal inference in spontaneous reports; cultural evolution of early communication systems.
