The Centre for Transnational Media Research hosted a PhD course with 25 participants from all over the world between 30 May and 1 June 2022. The topic ‘Transnational VoD cultures’ was covered by international experts looking into the impact of video-on-demand services on production, audiences, legal frameworks as well as texts and business models of the industry.
As a part of the cultural and social program of ECREA 2022, we invite researchers and scholars to sign up for ‘Impact Tours’. The tours are arranged and hosted by the Department of Media and Journalism in collaboration with partners in the city of Aarhus.
The calls for the ECREA 2022 pre- and post-conferences have been published. The information regarding the calls and submission deadlines are published on the conference website.
The four keynote speakers for the ECREA Conference 2022 have been announced, and the Local Organising Committee at the Department of Media and Journalism Studies is proud of the lineup. Read on to get an introduction of the speakers, and to find information about their work.
Last month the deadline for submission of abstracts for ECREA in Aarhus passed. This year’s conference has received 2021 abstracts, which is a new record for ECREA.
