Advisory board

About the advisory board:

At the Digital Design and Information Studies programs at Aarhus University, we aim to strengthen our collaboration with companies, organizations, and the business community. To achieve this, we have established an advisory board consisting of carefully selected companies and IT professionals.

The goal is to enhance the quality of our programs through closer collaboration and to increase the relevance and value of our graduates for companies and organizations.

The main focus of the advisory board is the competency needs of the digital job market, quality assurance of the programs, future collaboration opportunities between educators, students, and companies, as well as the job readiness of newly hired candidates.

Current members of the board from 2020 - 2023

Important topics

📌 It is a widespread trend that the digital job market is shifting from a focus on projects to a focus on products.

📌 Initiative and curiosity are sought-after personal skills in interns and newly hired employees.

📌 Recent graduates often struggle to articulate their professional competencies, which complicates the job search process and the dialogue with future employers.

📌 Our graduates are in high demand, and there are plenty of job opportunities out there. However, limited geographic mobility can be a hindrance for recent graduates in exploring job possibilities.
