The Centre for Transnational Media Research invites colleagues for a seminar on media, gender and diversity. The goal is to share ongoing research, ideas, questions and works-in-progress on the topic.

Our guest Maria Jansson (Professor of Gender Studies in the Department of Political Science at Örebro University in Sweden) will present her thoughts on the potential for political agency in audience studies, after which colleagues from Aarhus University will present their ongoing research on different topics pertaining to gender and diversity in media. We have also left ample time for collective thinking and discussion on the subject and on future opportunities for collaboration and funding schemes.
