Interdisciplinary research seminar and workshop hosted by the Center for Early Modern Studies at AU (CEMS) and HamletScenen at Kronborg Castle, Elsinore.
The seminar will explore comparative methodologies and contexts for the study of early modern theatre, including different geographies and languages, genres, periods or art forms. Speakers are Sofie Kluge (SDU), David Hasberg Zirak-Schmidt (SDU), Christian Dahl (KU), Niels Nykrog (KU) and Mikkel-Theis Paulsen (AU). In addition to the individual presentations, the seminar includes a plenary workshop on current opportunities and challenges for the comparative study of early modern theatre.
