Join us for an exciting exhibition of projects developed by the students of the Critical Data Studies program during the Alternative Data Futures course. The exhibition will take place on Thursday, May 4th in the Nygaard building.

Using speculative design and design justice methods to employ trans*feminist values, the students developed three projects that engage design methods to ask thought-provoking questions such as: What if our technologies were designed with alternative values such as multispeciesism, intuition, and autonomy? What if, instead of focusing on solutions, we explore questions by imagining alternative narratives and other ways of living with technology?

We invite you to discover how the students worked within the Alternative Data Futures framework and what projects they developed. There is no need to register for the event, just show up during the day. Students will be available for conversation and questions throughout the duration of the event.

For those interested in a more guided experience, there will be a presentation of the projects between 11:00-12:00. However, feel free to drop by at any time during the day.

Don't miss this opportunity to explore the intersection of critical data studies, speculative design, and design justice. We hope to see you there!
