AIIM explorative workshop: Images in the Royal Danish Library
Tuesday 8 October, 2024, at 9.00 – 11.00
- In person (incl. coffee and morning rolls): room 249, bld. 1580, Langelandsgade 139, 8000 Aarhus C
- Online at: https://aarhusuniversity.zoom.us/j/68429312335
In this workshop AIIM members explore some of the possibilities and relevant questions related to the Royal Danish Library’s (KB) image collections. Asker Bryld Staunæs facilitates the workshop (live from London), but participants should prepare for the workshop by performing this finetuning task (can be done in 1 hour, and it’s fun):
- Log into KB and download 10 images of your choice from one of their image collections. Select your images based on either a stylistic or thematic consistency: https://www.kb.dk/en/find-materials?filter=310
- Go to Eden, and sign in/sign up: https://beta.eden.art/sign-in
- Submit the code early-access-beta in the Redeem box.
- Click ‘Train’, upload the 10 images and train the model (name the model, so you can find it again). This is how you create a custom LoRA-model. Remember to choose a concept: “style, face, object.”
- After training, create images by prompting your model. Remember to turn on your LoRA in “Settings”.
As you go along: save your images, prompts etc. and take notes– which questions does your work raise? In the workshop we will explore the different models we created and discuss the questions raised.
All are welcome, but please sign up by accepting the outlook invitation or notifying Lotte, lottephilipsen@cc.au.dk
