On the occasion of John Roberts’ public talk on June 3, we are pleased to host an informal workshop that takes his recent book Art and Emancipation as a starting point. Roberts will open the session with a short introduction, followed by a collective discussion of one of his essays — and broader questions concerning art’s relation to radical praxis, the commons, and the idea of emancipation.
