Meet the team

The English Writing Centre employs four instructors. Below, you can learn more about each of our instructors.

Signe Gregersen

Signe is currently on her 2nd semester of the Masters Degree in English (SLK) at Aarhus University, with a minor in Dramaturgy.

Her main interests lie in Linguistics, although she has a really tough time deciding on which branch of it is her favorite.

Laura Bach Petersen

Laura is currently on her 2nd semester of the Master's programme in Business Language and International Business Communication (cand.ling.merc) at Aarhus University.

Her academic interests are business communication, exploring AI, and digital communication.

Sebastian Møller Jensen

Sebastian holds a BA in English and Sociology as well as a BA in History.

He is currently enrolled in the English Department's A-line MA program. Sebastian is mainly interested in the History, Society, and Culture branch of the department, with a particular focus on cultural development in the English-speaking world.

Though he once wrote an entire undergraduate essay arguing that footnotes disrupt narrative flow, Sebastian now finds himself citing Chicago style with alarming fluency.

Maja Elisabeth Hagner

Maja is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Communication in English at Aarhus University. Her academic interests lie in political communication, text production and the implications of the progressive development of AI.

Maja loves a good, enriching discussion with opposing positions, a fact that is subtly revealed by her increased engagement whenever her writing explores ethical or controversial issues.

Carmen Heine

Carmen is the English Writing Centre Coordinator. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of English. Her research interests are writing and translation studies and text production process studies.

Carmen's core interest in writing research is in writer's knowledge communication and writer's self-reflection during writing.

Writer type: Squirlitect (a cross between a squirrel and an architect)

Tilde Holst Andersen

Tilde is currently on her 6th semester of the Bacherlor's programme International Business Communication in English at Aarhus University.

She has a personal interest in business communication and generative AI.

Tilde’s last day as an instructor is 30th June, as she will pursue her master’s degree outside the faculty.
