Arthur Hjorth says: In this talk I present a teaching pilot project consisting of a three-lecture learning unit on doing Qualitative Analysis with LLMs in a Master’s level course on Innovation Management. We introduced students to LLMs, and scaffolded two pairs of learning activities: one pair focused on co-developing qualitative data collection instruments with LLMs, and the other pair on analyzing data. I introduce our teaching materials, our activities, a bit of learning process data, and the tentative feedback that we have gotten from students. Finally I welcome a discussion about using and teaching “LLMs for qualitative research”.
