Imagine Earth conference took place in June 2023 at the Louisiana Museum, addressing the urgent task of developing an aesthetics of the age commonly but also contestedly designated the Anthropocene.

Organized by Jacob Lund (Aarhus University), also part of the Environmental Media and Aesthetics program, together with Michael Kjær, University of Copenhagen and Mathias Ussing Seeberg, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, the focus was in particular on imagining and imaging the earth, its processes and transformations in non-dominant ways. Speakers at the conference included Frédérique Aït-Touati, Susan Schuppli, Emanuele Coccia, TJ Demos, Cave bureau, and many others.
