Info about event

Time

Wednesday 29 May 2019,  at 19:00 - 21:00

At art institutions, project spaces and in the public space we see the outcome of curators’ work, but as visitors, we rarely get access to the practical and reflective processes that come before the exhibitions. In the spring of 2019, Kunsthal Aarhus introduces the third season of the talk series How We Curate and welcomes a new group of international curators, who will present their work processes. Like the previous seasons, each event consists of two speakers who are invited based on their mutual interests or working conditions.

Tine Colstrup is Curator at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and Marianne Torp is Senior Research Curator at The Royal Painting and Sculpture Collection at The National Gallery.

Postdoc Trine Friis Sørensen will introduce and moderate the talks, which will be in Danish.

How We Curate is supported by The Danish Art Foundation and the Research Programme Contemporary Aesthetics and Technology at Aarhus University.
