Postdoc Thomas Bøgevald Bjørnsten receives the Sapere Aude research talent grant

As a part of the Sapere Aude program, Thomas Bøgevald Bjørnsten has set himself the task of getting from data to meaningful experience.

`From data to meaningful experience. Our Digital Reality, understood through Experimental Visual and phonetic mediation´, is the full title of the project that Thomas Bøgevald Bjørnsten has decided to focus his research on for the next while, now that he has the well-reputed Sapere Aude grant to back him up.

The project connects Thomas Bøgevald Bjørnsten´s interest in digital technology with in insight into the importance of visual and auditory dimensions. This also gives the project a bridge-building effect, which, as he explains it, is `Both a development project of interdisciplinary character, but also an example of how research within the humanities is able to bring together different academic fields of studies, in order to shed light upon a highly socially relevant topic´.
