Djuna Hallsworth is a Centre for Transnational Media Research guest researcher in April, May and June. Djuna is a PhD candidate in the Gender and Cultural Studies Department at the University of Sydney. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and English with First Class Honours at the University of Western Australia, with a thesis on the performance of mental illness in Idioterne (von Trier 1998). Her current research project focuses on the representation of women and motherhood in contemporary Danish film and television series from a feminist perspective. Djuna is a visiting PhD researcher at Aarhus University from April to June 2019.
