It aims at bringing together knowledge on the physical and statistical behavior of Natural Hazards with knowledge on digital storytelling and human behavior to create immersive user experiences based on real data, realistic scenarios, and simulations. These experiences will be used as a basis for preventive and emergency measures to save lives and cut costs. This talk will focus on how we create Virtual Reality Gamification experiences of natural hazards through digital storytelling.

The sensor based digital storytelling project portfolio

At NTNU we are exploring immersive media experiences in a variety of multimedia labs and projects in the intersection of art and technology. In Sense-IT lab, we explore the intersection of art and technology through several installations. In Café Media, we have different installations to experience and analyse experiences in the Virtual Reality. Adressaparken is an interactive park space to allow people to come together to witness, learn about or engage with digital innovation. The talk will give a quick overview of the activities going on to spark interest and contact for those who wish to discuss details and collaboration.
