Peter Dalsgaard was appointed full professor of Interaction Design at the School of Communication and Culture at Aarhus University on September 1, 2018. He will deliver his inaugural lecture on Tuesday March 26, 2019 at 15:00 in Store Auditorium, Incuba. Afterwards there will be a reception.

Abstract

In this inaugural lecture, Peter Dalsgaard will discuss the opportunities and challenges we face as we move from using computers to support and automate routine work towards using computers to support and augment creativity in the workplace and beyond. He will offer an overview of past and current projects that explore how we can better understand and support creative processes in fields such as design and architecture, and outline future research directions for how we can develop tools that help us collaboratively think and create in new ways.
