Marie Louise Juul Søndergaard, MA,
will be defending her dissertation.

The research project “Staying with the Trouble through Design: Critical-feminist Design of Intimate Technologies” (2015-2018) explores a design theory of intimacy and intimate technologies. The dissertation thus explores how and why interaction design and HCI should be better at “staying with the trouble”, as inspired by feminist scholar Donna Haraway, in particular when technologies become intimate and are used in increasingly intimate parts of our lives.
